About the award
The College of Social Sciences and International Studies at the University of Exeter is offering a â+3â PhD studentship in Socio-Legal Studies as part of the South West Doctoral Training Centre. Applicants must already have completed an eligible ESRC recognised Masters Research Training programme or equivalent in order to be considered.
Law at Exeter is committed to excellence in research, and individual scholars work in a wide range of fields from the historical and theoretical to the socio-legal. We have a vigorous research culture within the Law School which is contributed to by a flourishing community of full- and part-time postgraduate research students and enhanced by our location within the College of Social Sciences and International Studies.
For eligible students the full time studentship will cover UK/EU fees and an annual Research Council maintenance grant of approximately £13,726 (2013/14 rate) for up to three years (+3 award).
