The studentship covers an annual stipend and fee of £17,000 for 3 years.

The PhD project aims to explore the delamination mechanisms during the manufacture process of bilayer pharmaceutical formulations; and to develop predictive formulation and process development tools for bilayer tablets.
Candidates should have a first or upper second class undergraduate degree, or an MSc, in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Physics, or a relevant discipline. Previous experience in particle engineering or pharmaceutical technology would be an advantage.
