This fund was established in memory of Ashley Clay Winston by her family to provide academic scholarships to graduating seniors of Shawnee Mission West High School.
The students eligible for assistance shall be graduating seniors from Shawnee Mission West High School, intending to continue their education through a two or four year college and/or technical school. Consideration will be given to financial need and the student's work and community service record. Student must continue to attend classes and keep a 2.0 grade point average (or equivalent). Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in equal payments in August and January. Minimum of $1,000 annually to be paid in two equal installments. The second installment will be released upon proof of good academic progress (transcript required as proof).
Scholarships are not only for the smart students. Anyone can get scholarships
