About The National Association of Black Accountants Scholarship program
Since its inception, NABA, Inc. has provided more than $11 million in scholarship funds to deserving students preparing to enter various accounting, finance and business professions. For fiscal year 2014, NABA awarded $242,830 and the amount continues to grow annually. Through the generous contributions of individuals, groups, and organizations that share NABA’s desire to break through the economic barriers students of color often experience, NABA offers an average of 50 national scholarships annually ranging from $1,000 – $10,000.

NABA Member Scholarship Awards (multiple) | $1,000 – $3,000 |
To be eligible to receive an award, Applicants must:
- Be African-American (Black) or of African descent.
- Be currently enrolled at a four-year United States college or university as a full-time (12 semester hours or equivalent), undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior, or first-year senior accounting, finance, or business major or be a full-time graduate student (9 semester hours or equivalent) enrolled or accepted into a master’s-level business program. Current high school students are not eligible.
- Meet a minimum grade point average.
