50 EPSRC funded PhD studentships will be available over the next 5 years for UK and EU students.
Fluid Dynamics is central to many organisations and the need for highly-skilled employees, with a broad and deep knowledge of fluid flow, is growing rapidly.
Fluid dynamics sits at the centre of our lives. The weather we experience, the products we use, the food we eat, cars we drive, medical care we receive all depend on fluid dynamics.
The ability to measure, model and predict fluid flows is therefore critically important to the innovation of processes and products across almost all industries, and to the monitoring and prediction of environmental processes.
Our new Centre for Doctoral Training in Fluid Dynamics will tackle fundamental and applied problems providing students from a wide range of academic backgrounds with the opportunity to undertake cutting-edge, multidisciplinary research.
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a 4 year funded integrated PhD and MSc in Fluid Dynamics.
