Applications are invited for a part-time (50%) research assistant to work under the supervision of Dr Gonçalo Bernardes on an ERC-funded research project, involving the development of bioorthogonal labelling and tracking of cancer associated target proteins using super-resolution microscopy.
The successful applicant will be responsible for cell culture and imaging of labelled proteins in live cells.
Applicants should have (or be about to obtain) an honours degree in biology or biological chemistry. Experience in protein expression and purification is highly desirable.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
