Sterling Bank Scholarship at Miva Open University 2025 – Fully Funded Online Degrees
Sterling Bank, in collaboration with Miva Open University, is offering a life-changing opportunity for Nigerians to earn an undergraduate degree completely free of charge—no JAMB required.
Under the "Beyond Education" initiative, Sterling Bank will fully fund the tuition of 600 Nigerian students to study at Miva Open University, an NUC-licensed, fully online institution.
This scholarship is part of Sterling’s commitment to national development through investments in the HEART sectors:
Health, Education, Agriculture, Renewable Energy, and Transportation. The program commits ₦2 billion over 36 months to empower deserving individuals with quality higher education.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Sterling Bank Miva Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be aged between 16 and 35 years at the time of nomination
- Meet Miva Open University’s admission requirements (JAMB/UTME not required)

- 100% tuition coverage for the full duration of an undergraduate program at Miva Open University
- Access to a flexible, high-quality online learning experience through a university accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC)
How to Apply for the 2025 Sterling Bank Miva Scholarship

- Nominate yourself or be nominated by someone else.
- Selection through public voting: Only Sterling Bank account holders can vote.
- Verified nominees will be published on the website, grouped by state of residence.
- The top two nominees with the most verified votes in each state and the FCT will be announced as provisional winners.
- Winners must accept the award within 10 business days of notification.
- Final awardees must complete admission and enrolment at Miva Open University within two admission cycles or risk forfeiting the scholarship.
