 CDC-Hubert Global Health Fellowship

The  CDC-Hubert Global Health Fellowship is a scholarship grant for a  3rd and 4th year medical students  to spend 6 - 12 weeks in a developing country working on a priority health problem alongside field teams from the Center for Disease control. The Participants learn through hands-on experience working on a priority health problem in a developing country, and are mentored by experienced CDC staff Eligibility: The successful applicant must be

  • A medical or veterinary student in your 2nd or 3rd year when you apply
  • Enrolled in a school accredited by the
    • Liaison Committee on Medical Education
    • American Osteopathic Association
    • American Veterinary Medical Association
  • Covered by medical insurance during the fellowship
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Able to attend the CDC-Hubert Global Health Fellowship Short Course in Atlanta, August 20–23, 2015.
