The appointee is required to register for a part-time PhD that will be undertaken in the area of medical visualisation based at the Digital Design Studio of the Glasgow School of Art (www.gsa.ac.uk/dds), with which the Dental School already has a strong and flourishing collaboration. The PhD project will focus on child protection issues, within the overall theme of health inequalities and medical visualisation.
The successful candidate will start the clinical lecturer post and PhD study in the beginning of the 2013/14 academic year (mid-September 2013), and will spend 50% of his/her time at the DDS for PhD study and the other half completing clinical/lecturer duties at the University of Glasgow Dental School.
