Scholarship and Bursary Awards
Financial support for trainee teachers has never been better. You could get £30,000 tax-free while you train, either as a bursary or prestigious scholarship. Your eligibility for financial support, and the amount you can expect to receive, will depend on the subject you choose to teach and your degree classification or highest relevant academic qualification.

As one of the UK's leading centres for research and teaching in education, UEA’s Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Primary and Secondary Teacher Training programmes have been developed in close partnership with schools across Norfolk and Suffolk. We offer both School Direct and Provider-led routes. 

Postgraduate Programmes:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) – Primary (3-11 years age range)

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) – Secondary (11-16 years age range, with post16 enhancement)
