The University of Luxembourg invites applications for the following vacancy in the Laboratory for photovoltaics, subject to financing of the research project by the Fonds national de la recherche.
The Laboratory for Photovoltaics develops novel thin film solar cells, which are more cost efficient than conventional solar cells because they need less material and energy for their production. The successful candidate will develop a novel optical method to characterise the deep defects in the absorbers of these solar cells.
The doctoral student will be a member of the Physics and Material Science research unit within the Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication at the University of Luxembourg. He/she will work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Siebentritt.
