Swansea University's Engineering Behaviour in Sports and Exercise (E-BASE) Research Group is seeking to recruit a Sports and Exercise Scientist for a fully-funded PhD project.
About the project:Â The successful applicant will have significant expertise in the measurement of physical activity and sedentary behaviour in humans and will have a sound knowledge of sport and exercise science as well as a sound mathematical background. The expertise will be applied to childrenâs play in various settings and will build upon the world leading research carried out in this area by senior and early career research staff.
Candidate eligibility:Â Due to funding restrictions the full studentship is only available to UK/EU students.
Candidates should hold a 1st class undergraduate degree or a 2:1 with a master's level qualification in engineering, sports science or mathematics.
Studentship value:Â Candidates should hold a 1st class undergraduate degree or a 2:1 with a master's level qualification in Engineering, Sports Science or Mathematics.
UK students: UK students are eligible for a full award (stipend and fees).
EU students: EU students who have been âordinarily residentâ in the UK for 3 years prior to the start of the grant are eligible for a full award (stipend and fees). This means they must have been normally residing in the UK (apart from temporary or occasional absences).
EU students who are âordinarily residentâ in a member state of the EU are generally eligible for a fees-only award.
