There are a number of PhD studentships available in the area of Food Security. All students will join an agreed programme of skills training in year 1. Applicants may join the programme with or without selecting a preferred project. Part of the skills training programme includes short rotation projects and you may delay choosing a PhD project until you have experienced these differing research environments.

Funding Details: Funding provides full UK/EU tuition fees and an annual stipend at the UK Research Council rate, currently £13,726 per annum (plus £850 travel allowance in year 1, and a MacBook Pro)
Length of Award: 4 years (PhD)
Eligibility: Â Due to funding restrictions this is available to Home (UK & EU) students
