The Faculty is pleased to offer up to 10 University-funded PhD studentships.
The Studentships will be available to applicants on a competitive basis and will be awarded on academic merit and the overall strength of the application. In the research proposal, applicants should clearly demonstrate academic excellence in areas relevant to the strategic interests of the School of Political. Social and International Studies.

Arts and Humanities at the University of East Anglia

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities has developed a carefully tailored training programme for its students to ensure that they are well prepared both for their research and for their subsequent careers.

Whatever their particular subject area, all research students are encouraged to interact with academics and their fellow students in a series of seminars, workshops and related research events. Teaching opportunities, based on in-house training, are generally available at some point during the period of study.
