The Centre for Trophoblast Research aims to promote the study of placental biology, with special reference to the Trophoblast. It is offering up to 2 PhD studentships to commence in October 2014. These may be held in any relevant department within the University or its affiliated institutes.
These studentships will be awarded on a competitive basis and applicants will be expected to demonstrate both a strong academic background and an aptitude and enthusiasm for research.

The studentships are funded at Wellcome Trust rates for three years of full-time research and are open to UK, EU and overseas students.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
