McMaster University Guaranteed scholarships
McMaster’s President’s / Honours Awards are automatic and do not require a separate application. Scholarship values are based on a student’s final admission average to program.
Students completing their high school credentials in Canada or Canadian citizens/Permanent Residents completing high school outside of Canada are eligible for these awards provided that they meet the academic criteria.

University of Toronto Guaranteed scholarships
The guaranteed scholarships are available to all newly admitted students directly from high school and are assessed automatically on admission (no application required).
- $3,000 awards are eligible for renewal for a total value of up to $12,000*.
- Awards are based on the admitted average. Note: Where a course has been repeated, the first grade attained will be used.
- Award is contingent on full time registration.

University of Manitoba General Entrance Scholarships
University of Manitoba entrance/Guaranteed scholarships
University of Manitoba paid over $2M in entrance scholarships to high school students entering universities. They have set course and performance requirements for interested students as shown below. According to the university, three scholarship levels have been set, with the prerequisite average for each tier and corresponding scholarship amount determined on a yearly basis.

Formal scholarship names are as follows: Level I = University of Manitoba
Queen Elizabeth II Entrance Scholarship, Level II = Guertin Centennial
Entrance Scholarship, Level III = Hogg Centennial Entrance Scholarship.
Candidates are required to have:
- A submission through Apply Yourself by the scholarships deadline of March 1, 2018.
- A minimum average of 85% over the best five courses from a pre-approved list.

Statement from the University :
All Canadian citizens/PR entering the 1st semester of post-secondary studies for the first time with a minimum 85.0% admission average applying to the University of Guelph are automatically considered for a University of Guelph Entrance Scholarship. The scholarship offer will be made with the offer of admission to students who qualify. Whether a scholarship offer is made with an admission offer or not, all eligible students will be re-considered in May and August and have the opportunity to qualify or better their award. Students who received a University of Guelph Entrance Scholarship offer prior to our evaluation of final grades in August must maintain a minimum 80.0% final admission average.
