Lab rotations are supplemented with taught specialist and advanced research skills modules. You will also learn diverse practical skills in a range of areas which will help you make an informed choice about the project you will undertake over the following three years. Successful completion of year 1 is marked with the award of MRes. Years 2-4 comprises an in-depth research project in the subject area of your choice, which will draw upon experience gained in year 1. Our aim is for you to become an active and valued member of a research lab led by one of our many expert scientists. Funding Funding is available for a limited number of places.
