The Behavioral Science group in Warwick Psychology Department focuses on the interaction between the natural and social science approaches to understanding behavior. The group is highly interdisciplinary, working with colleagues from Economics and Warwick Business School and using methods drawn from psychology, economics, philosophy, and statistics.
The Studentships
We invite applicants for a fully funded PhD Studentship.
One four-year studentship will be funded by a Leverhulme Trust programme award on the theme of Value (awarded to Warwick Business School and Psychology). The topic areas include how peopleâs values and choices are influenced by social, economic, and environmental context, or how individual values may be elicited and aggregated for public policy purposes. Applicants with a background and interest in the psychology of judgment and decision-making, cognitive modelling and agent-based modelling of social network effects, or econometric analysis of panel data, are encouraged to apply.

Funding Details: The Studentship will pay an annual maintenance allowance at the standard rate of £13,726 and Tuition Fees at the Home/EU rate.
Length of Award: 4 years
Eligibility:Â Awards are open to both Home/EU and Overseas applicants. Overseas applicants are welcome to apply but, if successful, due to funding restrictions will have to pay the difference between the Home/EU and Overseas Fees. Some paid work may be available. Applications are welcome with or without an MSc.
