The purpose of this post is to develop a novel time-dependent methodology for discriminant function analysis that can be used to detect the earliest time point at which successful classification can be achieved. You will also construct a package (including a help tool) for the statistical programme R with the methodology developed, and apply the new approach to two clinical datasets.
You should have a PhD with a thorough knowledge of statistics and experience in the use of statistical packages, such as R. The post is available until 31 May 2017 initially.
