The Dept of Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering, Trinity College Dublin invites applications for an MSc Research studentship, part funded under the INTERREG Ireland-Wales programme. The Department is collaborating with the School of Business , Trinity College Dublin and Bangor University in this research. The research project will comprise the development and assessment of space efficient systems of energy recovery for the water industry using micro or pico-hydropower technology. The successful candidate will:
Applicants with good honours degrees in engineering or a related discipline will be considered. Funding for the MSc research project, commencing preferably in March 2013, is sufficient to cover a student stipend of approximately â¬12,000 p.a. and EU fees for up to two years. Extension of the project to a PhD is a possibility, subject to the availability of new and further funding.
