The College of Occupational Therapists (COT) in collaboration with the University of Nottingham is inviting applications for a 3 year full-time doctoral research fellowship.Â
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an early career research occupational therapist to undertake a PhD in the area of neurological rehabilitation within the School of Medicine, Division of Rehabilitation and Ageing of the University of Nottingham. The student will complete research within one of three areas of neurological rehabilitation (facilitating return to work through early specialist based interventions/studying how people with stroke regain confidence/development of peer-led coaching intervention. The supervisors will be Professor Pip Logan and Dr Kate Radford
Students must be members of the British Association of Occupational Therapists and be qualified with a first degree (classed at 2:1 or above) in Occupational Therapy and/or a relevant Masterâs level qualification.
This fellowship is available from January 2014 for a period of three years full time. The successful student will be paid a tax free stipend of £16k p.a., be registered with the University for a PhD and have their HEU fees paid. An additional £2k is provided for conferences/travel. Due to funding restrictions non UK/EU students will have to fund the HEU fees.
