Applications are invited for research studentships in the field of Multiphase Computational Fluid Dynamics, leading to the award of a PhD degree. The following areas will be covered:
The project will focus on model and software development together with our existing team of students and post-docs and within our available in-house codes (http://www.multiflow.org). The project will be performed in collaboration with experimental investigators and have strong industrial support.
You will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who meets the academic requirements for enrolment for the PhD degree at Imperial College London. You should have a background in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics, be highly motivated to pursue research and have a strong interest in computational and numerical methods. Appropriate training will be provided in the modelling approaches involved and in programming techniques. You will become a skilled communicator who is comfortable in an international situation. Good team-working, observational and communication skills are essential.
