Applications are invited for 36 month PhD studentship position in the group of Professor Franco Cacialli, funded by the Leverhulme Trust. The project is aimed at investigation flexible and printable electronics field-effect transistors (FETs). We are seeking enthusiastic and highly talented candidates with a Masters (or equivalent) degree in electric or electronic engineering, physics, material science, or physical chemistry. Due to the funding constraints only candidates eligible for paying fees at the home rate are eligible for the post.

Person Specification
Candidates should have an MSc, MSci, BSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or Physical Chemistry.
A strong academic record with experience of fabrication and characterisation of organic semiconductor devices, Field-Effect Transistors (FETS) or light-emitting transistors (LETS) would be desirable.
