Graduate Teaching Assistant award scheme

The School of Management and Business Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) scholarship scheme offers a package of research, training and career development for full-time PhD students. These awards are tailored to enable students to develop the necessary skills required to meet their career choices and offer a breadth of development opportunities to enhance their research, teaching and transferable skills.

Students within the scheme will make an agreed contribution to SMB as a condition of the PhD scholarship. Teaching is not the only option though. The career development contribution could involve research, editorial work, professional placements, or other personal development opportunities.
