MSc in Environmental Technology with Anglian Water Placement

(Part-time, over two years)

The MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London is the route to a successful career in environment and sustainability as demonstrated by the achievements of around 3,000 alumni, who have graduated since 1978. Many of these are internationally recognised leaders in their field, reflecting their training on this world-renowned course. Building on Imperial's environmental world-class research portfolio, the course is famous because of its interdisciplinary nature and its strong links with industry, business and regulators. We pride ourselves on the quality of the service we provide to students, science and the society, and our excellence in delivering the valuable interaction between scientific/technological training and industrial experience. For further information and how to apply please see http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/environmentalpolicy/teaching/msc/

Applications are now invited from graduates (with a second class honours or above) for the 2-year MSc in Environmental Technology programme with Placement for the 2013-2015 intake. We are looking to recruit 2 highly motivated candidates with the potential to develop a broad appreciation of all aspects of the management of people, engineering, science and policy in relation to water management and technology issues.

The successful candidates will complete two academic terms at Imperial College, starting in October 2013, followed by a 16-months placement in Anglian Water’s Innovation Team, the largest water and water recycling company in England and Wales by geographic area. The candidates will work on finding solutions to current business challenges which will provide them not only with a highly competitive postgraduate degree but also crucial work experience working for the water industry.  http://www.anglianwater.co.uk/

The programme provides suitably qualified candidates with an Anglian Water-financed bursary of £12,000 per annum plus the payment of tuition fees (at UK/EU rate).
