This vocational Masters programme is designed for students from a wide range of backgrounds and equips them for a professional career. Transport Planners play a key role in business and in society, by ensuring that transport systems are efficient, equitable, safe and environmentally sound. To do so they need to understand the core principles, techniques and concepts which underpin the discipline. This Masters programme engages students with a highly applied and practical subject area, which is both academically rigorous and vocationally rewarding.
Employability - jobs and careers
The transport sector continues to need people with the right skills and training. Students progress from ITS to a range of graduate-level jobs including those in consultancy, government, transport operators, not-for-profit and international agencies. ITS supports this via our close links with employers. www.its.leeds.ac.uk/courses/employabilityÂ
Open Days - 15th February and 3rd May 2013
Prospective students are invited to find out more about the programme, and meet the staff and current students, by attending an Open Day www.its.leeds.ac.uk/courses/masters/openday/
