Full Time The appointment will be on UCL Grade Clinical Training Fellow - Speciality Training Registrar. The salary range will be £34,672 - £50,009 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The Wellcome Trust PhD Programme for Clinicians will support the most promising medically qualified clinicians who wish to undertake rigorous research training, leading to the award of a PhD.
Fellows will be fully funded in the first instance for three years full-time while registered for a PhD at University College London. Depending on circumstances, those requiring a period of additional training to develop appropriate skills before embarking on their PhD will be offered the opportunity to complete an additional year completing a taught MSc prior to their PhD studies. This will be determined on a case by case basis. Â
The posts are available from September 2014, and are funded for up to three years depending on the programme of study chosen followed.
Applicants to this programme will be expected to show evidence of a keen interest in and aptitude for medical research with a long term career aim to pursue clinical academic research. Â
You need to be a GMC-registered clinician with a relevant connection to the European Economic Area. You can be at any stage of your training; although some applicants will have commenced their specialist training, this is not essential. Applicants who have already finished their training and received a CCT are not eligible
