Eastern Michigan University Presidential Scholarship 2026
The Presidential Scholarship at Eastern Michigan University (EMU) is the institution’s most prestigious award for incoming first-year students. It covers full tuition, room, and board for four years—a value of approximately $100,000—providing high-achieving high school graduates with the opportunity to pursue their college dreams without financial burden.
Presidential Scholars are active members of The Honors College at EMU, enhancing their academic journey with opportunities for critical thinking, leadership development, and community engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a high school senior or incoming freshman for Fall 2026.
- Have at least:
- 3.5 cumulative GPA and 25 composite ACT or 1200 SAT (Critical Reading + Math).
- SAT/ACT requirement is waived for students with a GPA of 3.85 or higher.
- Apply for admission to EMU and submit all official transcripts and test scores by the scholarship deadline.
Scholarship Benefits
- Full tuition coverage for four years.
