Are you an international student seeking a fully funded postgraduate opportunity in Sydney? The UTS Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship covers full tuition fees for outstanding international students.
This scholarship is designed to support high-achieving students beginning their postgraduate coursework at UTS in Sydney. It is awarded to individuals who embody the university’s core values and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and social justice.
Eligibility Criteria for the UTS Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident of Australia).
- Meet all admission requirements for their chosen postgraduate coursework program by the scholarship application deadline.
- Begin full-time studies on campus in Sydney (includes face-to-face and/or remote learning, except for online-only or distance-mode degrees).
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree comparable to an Australian Bachelor’s degree, obtained within the last three (3) years before commencing at UTS.
- Have an overall average of 90% (where the pass mark is 50%) or an equivalent score in a UTS-recognized Bachelor’s qualification.
- Submit a UTS online scholarship application form to be considered.
Ineligibility
Applicants will not be eligible if they:
- Are enrolled in a UTS online or distance-mode degree.
- Are government-sponsored students.
- Have received another UTS scholarship for the duration of this scholarship.
Selection Process
- The scholarship is awarded to the highest-ranked applicant based on:
- Academic merit in the qualification used for admission.
- The quality of responses provided in the UTS online scholarship application.

- The scholarship covers the tuition fees for the full duration of the postgraduate coursework program at UTS.
