The University of Brescia announces the opening of applications for the 2025/2026 academic year, offering 18 scholarships for international students. These scholarships cover the standard duration of a Master’s Degree program and are available to students who have earned an undergraduate degree from a non-EU country.
Priority for the STAR Scholarships will be given to students from African countries, including those applying for scholarships specifically designated for Bachelor’s degree programs.

Eligibility Requirements for University of Brescia STAR and LMINT Scholarships 2025
To be eligible for the University of Brescia LMINT Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria at the time of the application deadline:
Residency & Citizenship:
Must be a citizen of a non-EU country.
Must be a resident and domiciled outside the European Union.
Age Requirement:
Must be 30 years old or younger at the time of the application deadline (except for scholarship renewals).
University Registration:
Must be registering for the first time at an Italian university.
Academic Qualifications:
Must hold a valid undergraduate degree that:
- Has a minimum duration of three years.
- Qualifies the applicant for admission to a postgraduate program in the country where it was obtained.
- Is comparable to the first cycle QF-EHEA (European Higher Education Area) Level 6 EQF (European Qualifications Framework).
- Was issued outside the EU by a recognized institution authorized to grant higher education degrees.
- Meets the admission requirements for the chosen Master’s degree program.
Language Proficiency:
Must have a B2-level English proficiency certificate (CEFR) or have completed previous academic studies in English.
Minimum Academic Performance:
Must have obtained an undergraduate degree with:
- A final grade of at least 80/100, OR
- A minimum GPA of 3.2/4.0.

Benefits of the University of Brescia Scholarships 2025
STAR Scholarships
Recipients of the University of Brescia STAR Scholarships will receive the following benefits:
- Annual Financial Support: €6,150 per year.
- Tuition Fee Waiver: Full exemption from university tuition fees (excluding regional tax & stamp duty of approximately €156).
- Accommodation & Dining Benefits:
- Access to university residence at subsidized rates.
- Discounted meal services.
- Duration: Covers the standard length of the Master's degree program.
- Reserved Scholarships for African Students: Three scholarships are specifically allocated for students from African countries.
LMINT Scholarship
Recipients of the University of Brescia LMINT Scholarship will receive:
- Annual Financial Support: €4,800 per year.
- Renewal: The scholarship can be renewed for a second year.
Required Documents for the University of Brescia Scholarships 2025
Applicants must be prepared to submit the following documents:
- Completed Application Form
- Valid Identity Document-Preferably a passport.
- Academic Qualification Certificate (Original)-Must include:
- Name and level of the qualification.
- Final grade achieved along with the minimum and maximum possible scores.
- Year of completion.
- Name and address of the issuing institution.
- List of exams taken with corresponding scores and credits.
- If the degree has not yet been obtained, an official university enrollment certificate with a list of completed exams must be provided.
