Women in Media:Ford Empowering America Scholarship The Ford Motor company and The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation created a scholarship to challenge undergraduate students to create video profiles of influential women in their community. The successful student that created a winning video profile will receive a $3,000 and will also have the opportunity to create a video honoring one of the women from the Empowering America list. There is also a $2,000 prize for the runner-up.
