The University of Michigan-Dearborn is offering international students scholarships of up to $50,000 for undergraduate studies in the 2025-2026 academic year. These highly competitive scholarships provide significant financial assistance toward tuition costs and are awarded based on academic excellence. Eligible students can receive up to $12,500 annually, totaling $50,000 over four years.
Eligibility Criteria for the University of Michigan-Dearborn Scholarships
To qualify for the University of Michigan-Dearborn Scholarships, applicants must:

Be an international student

Hold a valid visa

Plan to enroll full-time in an undergraduate degree program at the university

Have an academic background equivalent to a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Attain a combined SAT score of at least 1020

Demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following:

MELAB: 76
-
IELTS: 6.5
-
TOEFL (IBT: 80, CBT: 213, PBT: 550)

Scholarship Benefits
The University of Michigan-Dearborn Undergraduate Scholarships provide financial support based on academic achievement:

$12,500 per year ($50,000 over four years) – For students with a 4.0 GPA or higher or a Michigan address.

$10,000 per year ($40,000 over four years) – For students with a GPA of 3.5 to 3.99.

$7,500 per year ($30,000 over four years) – For students with a GPA of 3.25 to 3.49.

$5,000 per year ($20,000 over four years) – For students with a GPA of 3.00 to 3.24.
Duration of the Scholarship

Renewable for up to 8 semesters for freshman students.

Renewable for up to 6 semesters for transfer students.

Valid until the completion of a Bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.
