NNPC OANDO Scholarship 2025/26: Applications Now Open
The NNPC OANDO National JV Scholarship is now accepting applications from eligible Nigerian students currently enrolled in tertiary institutions across the country. This scholarship provides a ₦200,000 annual grant, covering the period from selection until the final year of study at the recipient's current university.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture invites suitably qualified students to apply for the 2025 Tertiary Scholarship Scheme, which runs from March 27 to April 30, 2025.
Scholarship Categories:
- Host/Transit Communities Merit Award – Exclusively for students from OANDO’s host and transit communities.
- National Merit Award – Open to students from non-host/transit communities.
Eligible students are encouraged to apply before the deadline!
NNPC OANDO Scholarship 2025: Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO JV Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a Nigerian tertiary institution.
- Be 100-level students admitted in the 2024/2025 academic session.
- Be citizens of Nigeria.
- Must not be recipients of any other scholarship from an organization operating in the Oil & Gas industry, either nationally or internationally.
Who Should NOT Apply?
- Students currently benefiting from other scholarships from companies or agencies.
- Dependents of NAOC/NAE/AENR/NACPFA staff.
Scholarship Categories & Eligibility
- Host Communities Merit Award – Open only to indigenes of NAOC Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States.
- National Merit Award – Open to students studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Science.

NNPC OANDO Scholarship 2025: Duration & Benefits
The NNPC OANDO Scholarship 2025 provides selected students with an annual grant of ₦200,000, covering the entire duration of their undergraduate studies.
Required Documents for Application
Applicants must be prepared to submit the following documents:
- Passport Photograph – Recent photo with a white background (taken within the last 3 months, 450px by 450px, not exceeding 200KB).
- School ID Card
- O’Level Certificate
- Admission Letter
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Local Government Area (LGA) of Origin
- Letter from Community Paramount Ruler (For Host Communities Merit Award applicants only).
- Letter from CDC Chairman (For Host Communities Merit Award applicants only).
- JAMB Result
