NNPC-Renaissance JV University Scholarship 2025
NNPC, TotalEnergies, and Agip Oil Exploration (Eni), through their joint venture with Renaissance African Energy Company, are now accepting applications for the NNPC-Renaissance JV University Scholarship 2025.
This scholarship awards ₦200,000 annually to support academically outstanding undergraduate students in Nigerian universities.
About the Scholarship
The NNPC-Renaissance JV Scholarship is managed by Renaissance, the operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture. The scholarship aims to:
- Promote academic excellence
- Enhance the skills of young Nigerians in tertiary institutions
Successful applicants will receive a yearly grant throughout the duration of their undergraduate studies.
Scholarship Categories
National Merit Award (NM)
– Open to all full-time undergraduate students in Nigeria
Areas of Operation Merit Award
– Open to students who are indigenes of the company’s operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens
- Be registered as full-time undergraduate students in an accredited Nigerian university
- Currently be in 200 level with proof of admission into a degree program during the 2023/2024 academic session
- Not be receiving any other scholarship from an oil & gas company (local or international)
Scholarship Benefits
- Each successful applicant will receive ₦200,000 per year until graduation.
Required Documents
Ensure all documents are clear and in JPEG format (each not exceeding 200KB). You’ll need:
- Passport photograph (white background, not older than 3 months – 450px by 450px)
- School ID card
- University or JAMB admission letter (UTME or Direct Entry)
- JAMB result
- 100 level transcript or result (2023/2024 session)
- Certificate or letter of origin from your Local Government
- For applicants from operational areas, you must also provide:
- A letter of identification signed by the Paramount Ruler of your community
- A letter of endorsement from the Chairperson of the Community Development Committee (CDC) or Community Executive Council (CEC)
