Rev Tony Akinyemi Foundation Scholarship (RTSF) 2025 – Now Open for Applications
The Rev Tony Akinyemi Foundation Scholarship (RTSF) is now accepting applications for its 2025 cycle, providing full tuition support to deserving Nigerian students in both secondary and tertiary institutions.
This initiative is part of the foundation’s commitment to promoting quality education in Africa by supporting academically promising students from low-income backgrounds. The scholarship aims to bridge the financial gap and empower young minds to achieve their educational dreams.
Eligibility Criteria
For Secondary School Students:
- Must be enrolled in a government-owned secondary school
- Must currently be in Primary 6 (transitioning to JSS1) or JSS1 – SSS2
- Must have a minimum academic score of 65%
- Must show clear evidence of financial need
For Undergraduate Students:
Must be a Nigerian student attending a government tertiary institution
Must be in:
- 100–300 level (for 4-year programs)
- 100–400 level (for 5-year programs)
- 100–500 level (for 6-year programs)
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.50/5.00 or 2.50/4.00
- Must demonstrate financial need
Selection Process
Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Academic performance (meeting the stated grade/GPA thresholds)
- Financial need, as demonstrated in supporting documentation
