We are looking for a motivated individual to join the research team at the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre. The post holder will be a key member of the team working on recording electrophysiological measurements of neurotransmission and specifically involved in organising and managing the genotyping and breeding of different neuromuscular disorder mouse models. This is a varied and exciting role with extensive opportunities for collaborations with academics, researchers and industry.
You will hold a degree or HND in a biological discipline and previous laboratory experience in biology is essential.
You will work with a high level of precision, care and attention to detail and have good computer skills. The ability to work independently but also as part of a team is required.
The post is tenable for 18 months.
