MRC Discovery Fellowships in Single Cell Inflammation Discovery
The University has been awarded a MRC Discovery Award to enhance capability in single cell analysis by RNA sequencing or CyTOF. The University therefore seeks to appoint a postdoctoral research associate with published experience of RNA sequencing or CyTOF and their analysis. This post will be available from 1st November 2016 and available for 24 months in the first instance (subject to the satisfactory completion of a probationary period).
Applicants can apply to one of the following areas/supervisors: Collaborative applications between supervisors are highly encouraged.
a) Single cell heterogeneity in lung inflammatory disease - Professors Hussell, Simpson and Vestbo.
b) Single cell immunology in health and disease- Professor Dan Davis.
c) The innate:adaptive immune interface during Type 2 inflammation against helminths and allergens - Professor Andrew MacDonald.
