We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced scientist with an entomology background to join our expanding and dynamic scientific team.
The Arthropod Control Product Test Centre, arctec, is a division of Chariot Innovations Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
arctec is a world-leading independent centre for consultancy and the evaluation and development of arthropod control technologies. From our laboratories in London and specialised field sites around the world, we run clinical and non-clinical studies on products designed to kill or repel a wide range of insects, including mosquitoes, bed bugs and head lice.
Our knowledgeable scientific team and extensive portfolio of clients has led us to be one of the market leaders in the evaluation of arthropod pest control products for industry. We pride ourselves on our unique in-house expertise and high quality scientific standards.
The post holder will use their excellent scientific skills to design studies, perform data analysis, interpret results and write reports. They should have outstanding organisational skills and good experience in project management to deliver projects effectively. The post requires an enthusiastic, organised and innovative individual with a good experimental mind and excellent attention to detail. Experience working with clinical trials would be a distinct advantage, as a proportion of our studies are of a clinical nature.

Salary is in the range of £33,350 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting.
