University of Szeged Scholarship 2025/26 – Apply for the Hungary National Higher Education Grant
The University of Szeged invites both domestic and international students to apply for the Hungary National Higher Education Scholarship 2025/26.
This prestigious scholarship provides a €10,000 grant (equivalent to HUF 40,000/month) for a full academic year and is available to students enrolled in full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s, or undivided programs.
The scholarship is awarded in accordance with the Act CCIV of 2011 on National Higher Education, and Government Decree 51/2007, with regulations remaining unchanged for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Eligibility Criteria for the University of Szeged Scholarship
To qualify for the Hungary National Higher Education Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or undivided program (state-funded or self-funded)
- Have completed at least 2 academic semesters
- Have earned a minimum of 55 credits
- Show academic excellence, professional achievements, or active social engagement
- Be continuing their studies or transitioning to another program in the 2025–26 academic year
- Have demonstrated outstanding academic or professional performance during the 2024–25 academic year
