Who Can Apply?
For the 2025 cohort, up to:
- 20 Canadians (citizens, permanent residents, or refugees), and
- 10 International students will be selected as McCall MacBain Scholars.
Additionally, nearly 100 other awards (finalist and regional scholarships) will be offered to top candidates during the interview process.
Eligibility Criteria
You can apply if one of the following applies to you:
- You’re on track to complete your first bachelor’s degree by August 2026
- You earned your first bachelor’s degree in January 2020 or later
- You earned your first bachelor’s degree before 2020 and will be 30 or younger in 2025
You must also meet the admissions requirements (academic and language) for a McGill master’s program.
What the Scholarship Covers
The McCall MacBain Scholarship includes:
- Full tuition and fees for your program
- A living stipend of $2,300/month during academic terms
- A one-time relocation grant if you're moving to Montréal
- French language courses (beginner to advanced)
- Up to $5,000 for summer initiatives, if not enrolled in summer classes
