Applications are now open for the MPOWER MBA Scholarship, which provides up to $5,000 to support international students pursuing an MBA in the U.S. or Canada. This scholarship is available to students enrolled in MPOWER-eligible institutions and aims to assist those who exhibit strong leadership potential and a commitment to ethical decision-making in business.
Eligibility Criteria for the MPOWER MBA Scholarship
To qualify for the MPOWER MBA Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be admitted to or currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program at an MPOWER-supported school in the U.S. or Canada.
- Be an international student with legal authorization to study in the respective country.
- For the U.S.: Must hold a valid visa that permits study or be protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
- For Canada: Must have a valid Canadian study permit.
- U.S. and Canadian citizens are not eligible for this scholarship.
Selection Criteria
Applicants are evaluated based on:
- The quality of their essay, including clarity of thought, compelling career goals, and strong communication skills in English.
- A demonstrated connection between their chosen field of study and long-term career aspirations.
- Their potential as a leader, entrepreneur, scientist, or changemaker with the ability to make a meaningful impact in their field.
