Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the 2025 UdeM Exemption Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be an international student holding a valid study permit.
- Not be a permanent resident or citizen of Canada.
- Be enrolled full-time in a study program at Université de Montréal.
- Not be receiving other tuition fee exemptions (e.g., French or Belgian Francophone students).
Scholarship Value and Duration
Scholarship amounts vary based on academic level and program type. The only criterion used to determine the amount awarded is the student's academic performance.
Undergraduate Programs
Level A: $13,740.60/year (30 credits) or $6,870.30/session (15 credits)
Level B: $6,548.40/year or $3,274.20/session
(Applied against annual tuition fees of $25,567.80)
Master’s Programs
Non-research: $10,788.75/year (45 credits) or $3,596.25/session
Research: $15,150.00/year or $5,050.00/session
(Applied against annual tuition fees of $29,084.40)
PhD Programs
$22,908.60/year (45 credits) or $7,636.20/session
