The Scholarship:
The Actuarial Diversity Scholarship established in 1977 was setup to help qualified students develop skills in Actuarial science . This has opened numerous opportunities for a large number of minority students over the years.
The target is to encourage highly qualified minority students to aspire higher and attain good quality education. Among other things, this scholarship was also setup to promote diversity among Black/African American, Hispanic and Native American Indian students.
The scholarship is also available to both undergraduate and graduate level students pursuing a degree that may lead to a career in the actuarial profession.
