The scholarship:
Saktel offers eight awards of $2,000 each year to Saskatchewan students studying in a field directly related to telecommunications. This scholarship is the Métis Aborigines students.

- Eligibility:
Students must be studying Telecoms related course
- Students must an Aborigine(Métis )
- The applicant must be a Saskatchewan resident
- The applicant must have planned to study at post-secondary level in any of the Programs but not limited to the following:
- Engineering (electrical, electronic, telecommunications)
- Business Administration/Commerce
- Computer Science
Other requirements:
Candidates are required to submit a 50-word statement of purpose attesting to leadership skills and Community involvement
Deadline: Applications must be received by May 1 and October 1 of each year.
Applications must be submitted yearly.
