Faculty scholarships recognise high-achieving students at UOW. Scholarship recipients are expected to fulfill an ambassadorial role for the faculty by actively participating in Faculty-hosted events and become committee members of the Faculty's Student and Staff Association.
Value $4,000 per annum Duration Minimum duration of the degree Level of Enrolment First Year Graduate Type Undergraduate Number Available Five (5) Year of Scholarship First Year 2018 Degree Science, Medicine and Health (all undergraduate degrees) Offer Type Scholarship Category A Broad Study Area Graduate Medicine, Health & Medicine, Science Faculty Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health Application Criteria Must enrol in a full-time degree or double degree offered by the Faculty of Science, Medicine or Health Outstanding academic achievement based on most recent academic records Motivation and interests, particularly in relation to nominated career path Communication and interpersonal skills Evidence of leadership and participation in other areas, e.g. sports, the arts, employment, school and community activities A minimum ATAR of 95* Must be commencing study in 2018 as a first year full-time undergraduate student at UOW (no previous enrolment at UOW) Must be an Australian citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or holder of an Australian Humanitarian Visa
