Government of Malaysia MTCP Scholarship 2025 – Fully Funded Postgraduate Study Opportunity
Applications are now open for the 2025 Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Scholarship, a fully funded initiative by the Government of Malaysia. This scholarship supports qualified international students from developing countries who wish to pursue postgraduate studies (Master’s Degree) in Malaysia.
Successful applicants will receive full tuition coverage and an annual living stipend of approximately $9,516 USD, along with additional allowances and a return airfare. The scholarship aims not only to provide world-class education but also to equip students with knowledge and skills that will contribute to the development of their home countries.

- Duration: 24 to 36 months (Master’s Degree only)

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the MTCP Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
- Be citizens of developing countries
- Be 45 years old or younger
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with second-class upper honors (minimum GPA of 3.50)
- Have completed previous studies in one of the following fields:
- Science, Technology, Engineering (excluding Nursing, Medicine, Clinical Pharmacy)
- Economics, Finance, Management, Banking
- Social Sciences, Humanities
- ICT, International Relations, Political Science
- Agriculture, Aquaculture, or Education
- Provide proof of English language proficiency:
- IELTS: Minimum score of 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 70
- Hold a degree where English was the medium of instruction
