Applications are now open for the TDR Postgraduate Scholarship in Implementation Research at the University of Ghana School of Public Health for the 2025–2026 academic year.
This fully funded scholarship supports students pursuing a Master’s in Public Health or an MSc in Applied Health Social Science, with a focus on Implementation Research (IR) to tackle critical global health challenges.
The scholarship is funded by TDR, the UNICEF/UNDP/World Bank/WHO Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases.
TDR Postgraduate Scholarship 2025: Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the TDR Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a citizen and resident of a low- or middle-income country as classified by the World Bank.

Be under 35 years old at the time of application.

Meet the admission requirements for graduate studies at the University of Ghana (for both local and international applicants).

Have a strong interest in pursuing a career in Implementation Research focused on infectious diseases of poverty.

Be proficient in English.

Provide proof of study leave approval (if employed) before the program begins.

Meet health requirements as per the regulations of the Government of Ghana and the University of Ghana.
