Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Scholarship 2026 – Fully Funded Postgraduate Study in Thailand
The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity for outstanding international students to pursue a two-year Master’s degree in Thailand.
This prestigious award covers all academic expenses including tuition, laboratory costs, refresher course fees, thesis production, as well as round-trip airfare, visa fees, settlement and relocation allowances, accommodation, monthly stipend, book allowance, health insurance, and other necessary support.
Applications are now open for the 2026 intake.
About the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute
Established in 2005 under the initiative of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, CGI is a multidisciplinary postgraduate academic institute.
Each year, 15 scholarships are awarded to international students based on merit to study a Master’s programme in Applied Biological Sciences, Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, or Chemical Sciences.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the CGI Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be an international student under the age of 30.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 in one of the following fields:
- Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences
- Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology
- Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Applicants from related fields are also welcome to apply.
- Have scientific laboratory research experience.
- Demonstrate English proficiency through TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent.
- Provide a Statement of Purpose outlining academic interests and goals.
Scholarship Benefits & Duration
The scholarship covers:
- Tuition and all academic fees (credit fees, lab expenses, refresher courses, enrollment, thesis costs).
- Round-trip airfare and visa fee.
- Settlement and relocation allowances.
- Accommodation and monthly stipend.
- Book allowance and health insurance.
- Additional support during the study period.
Programme Duration:
- 6-week refresher course followed by 2 years of Master’s study, subject to annual performance review.

- Full academic transcript.
- Three recommendation letters.
- Statement of Purpose.
- Medical history report.
