National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) International Scholarship 2026 – Spring Intake

The National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) in Taiwan is now accepting applications for the 2026 NYCU International Scholarship for the Spring Semester (award period: March 2026 – February 2027). This scholarship is available to international students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, or PhD programs at NYCU.

The scholarship offers a monthly stipend of up to NT$30,000 and a tuition waiver, providing comprehensive support to help talented students excel in their academic journey in Taiwan.

Scholarship Objective

NYCU aims to attract outstanding international students by offering generous financial assistance through the International Student Scholarship Guidelines established by the university.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the 2026 NYCU International Students Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a new international student (not receiving any other government scholarship or grant)
Maintain a minimum GPA:

3.0 for undergraduate students
3.5 for graduate students

Have a strong command of English
Possess valid academic transcripts and certificates from previous institutions
Pass the departmental review of submitted documents

Scholarship Benefits

Monthly stipend:

Undergraduate: NT$5,000 – NT$21,000
Master’s: NT$7,000 – NT$25,000
PhD: NT$10,000 – NT$30,000

Full or partial tuition fee waiver
