The Rotary Peace Fellowship is designed for leaders with experience in peacebuilding and development, who are dedicated to community service and global peace initiatives. Each year, The Rotary Foundation awards up to 50 fellowships for master’s degrees and 80 fellowships for certificate programs at top universities worldwide.
Master’s Degree Fellowship
Selected candidates engage in research-driven education on peace and development, learning alongside a diverse cohort of students. The program lasts 15 to 24 months and includes a two- to three-month field study, which fellows design to gain hands-on experience.
Professional Development Certificate Program
This one-year blended learning program is designed for experienced professionals seeking to enhance their skills in peace and conflict resolution. Fellows participate in field studies, develop a social change initiative, and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. Upon completion, participants earn a postgraduate diploma.

Eligibility Requirements for the 2025 Rotary Peace Fellowships
To qualify for a Rotary Peace Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Exhibit leadership potential
- Have at least three years of full-time, relevant experience in peacebuilding or development work
